QACC Doha Receives Award of Excellence

At MHCT, we build long-term partnerships that strengthen Halal integrity through practical training, disciplined implementation, and standards-based verification. We congratulate Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) on a significant milestone in Doha—achieving an outstanding overall score of 100%, which entitled the organisation to a Halal Compliance Certificate and an “Award of Excellence.”

Building Capability Through Targeted Training

Strong outcomes start with shared understanding on the ground. As part of QACC’s Halal Training & Certification Renewal program, we delivered Halal Training on June 5, 2025, aligned with MS 1500:2019 and tailored to the operational realities of airline catering.

We designed the training to help teams apply Halal requirements consistently across daily workflows—especially where handling discipline and documentation habits protect integrity at scale.

A Two-Day Program Aligned to MS 1500:2019

We supported QACC through a two-day program that combined:

  • Halal Training (June 5, 2025)
  • A Doha Halal Kitchen Unit audit to support renewal readiness
  • Alignment with MS 1500:2019, reinforcing a structured and recognised benchmark for Halal compliance

This sequence helped connect learning directly to implementation expectations, supporting clearer execution across Halal-critical control points.

What This Milestone Represents for Airline Catering Operations

Airline catering operations operate at speed and volume. Maintaining Halal integrity requires repeatable controls, clear segregation practices, and reliable traceability—across shifts, teams, and time-sensitive production demands.

QACC’s 100% overall score reflects disciplined implementation and a strong commitment to operational consistency, supported by structured competency development.

Benefits Strengthened Through the Program

This milestone supports:

  • stronger internal competency for consistent Halal meal handling
  • clearer control and accountability at Halal-critical points
  • improved documentation readiness for ongoing assurance and renewal activities
  • greater confidence across stakeholders in Halal and hygiene compliance practices

The Path Ahead

We remain committed to supporting organisations that aim to sustain Halal integrity through practical training, system strengthening, and standards-grounded verification aligned with MS 1500:2019.
