MHCT Partners with MOST to Cultivate Halal Trainers in Davao
MHCT Agency is honored to collaborate with the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the Bangsamoro Government to spearhead a revolutionary Training of Trainers program focused on Halal Knowledge and Skills Development. The intense three-day program, conducted from August 11 to 13, 2025, at Bajada Suites in Davao City, equipped thirty (30) MOST workers with advanced Halal standards and best practices.

Under the guidance of our Executive Director, Prof. Dr. Hj. Abdul Rafek Saleh—Executive Director and Principal Halal Consultant of MHCT and the International Halal Integrity Alliance—the training prepared participants to serve as proficient Halal trainers, poised to disseminate knowledge to micro, small, and medium enterprises throughout the Bangsamoro region.
We were privileged to assist Acting Minister Jehan A. Usop and Director-General Engr. Abdulrakman Asim, who emphasized the essential importance of Halal knowledge in guaranteeing that the forthcoming generation inherits a reliable and prosperous Halal ecosystem. Their dedication exemplifies our mutual objective of instilling excellence and credibility throughout the region.

This initiative is a component of MOST’s NETWORKS Project (Nurturing Expertise on Technological Works and Opportunities on Relevant Knowledge and Skills)—a forward-thinking endeavor aimed at cultivating competence in areas such as Halal, food safety, innovation, and techno-business. Our collaboration is to facilitate community-driven, technology-informed Halal capacity-building to enhance MSME productivity and economic impact.
At MHCT, we are dedicated to delivering impactful advice and training that enhances worldwide Halal integrity—one expert, one trainer, one organization at a time.
